St. Thomas of Canterbury
St. Thomas of Canterbury is now involved in searching for a new Rector, due to the imminent retirement of our current Rector. We are a small but active Parish with 100+ members. Our church community is committed to the REC and Historic (1928) Prayer Book worship as a Low Church, Prayer Book Evangelical Parish consistent with the 39 Articles of Religion and a high view of Scripture.
We are located at the entrance to Pearland, Texas, a rapidly growing suburb and easily accessible from southern and southwest Houston.
As part of our search process, our Parish has undergone a self-study and provided a Parish Profile summary
If you have an interest, we would like to learn more about you – about your faith, your experience in the Anglican Church, your spiritual life, your areas of strength, and your areas of weakness, providing us with a glimpse of the person that may be called as our new Rector. We ask that you provide a cover letter expressing your interest, along with your CV. Please email to Mr. Bruce Woodcock, Chair of the Rector Search Committee at email@example.com
